Today we finally got to see what Apple had been working on, here’s a recap of all the announcements that were made at the conference this morning including photos galleries, hands-ons impressions and a full stream of the event if you want to watch it…
iPod Nano 4th Generation: Larger Screen,Coverflow,Colorful,Acelerometers
Apple announced the 4th generation of its iPod Nano and it came out to be exactly the way Kevin Rose said las week it would. The 8Gb is supposed to be avalible today and the 16Gb version this weekend,here’s a list of every new feature:
- Thinnest iPod ever
- Enhanced user interface
- Accelerometer to detect tilt
- Shake iPod to shuffle
- Genius playlist built in
- Aluminum with curved glass
- Battery: 24 hours for music. 4 hours for video.
- $149 for 8GB. $199 for 16GB.
- 9 Colors: silver, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, pink, black

iTune 8.0: HD TV Shows, Genius Playlist,Grid View:

Apple updated its famous music app to iTunes 8.0 version. It’s not a mayor overhaul but it does includes some nice changes like:
- Support for High Definition TV shows
- $1.99 for Standard Definition episodes
- $2.99 for High Definition episodes
- Genius playlists: automatically find similar songs in your collection
All this also is accompanied with the return of NBC to the iTunes store, so all you The Office and Heroes fans can rejoice.
Second Generation iPod Touch: Thinner, Funnier

With the new version Apple has made its iPod Touch pack more features in a thinner package. Features include:
- 2.1 Firmware
- Built-in speaker, volume controls
- Genius playlist
- Nike+iPod support
- Battery: 36 hours for music, 6 hours for video.
- $229 for 8GB, $299 for 16GB, $399 for 32GB

iPhone Update And Other Things:
Along with the other announcements Apple said that it will update the iPhone firmware this friday to fix the current glitches. Changes includes:
- Significantly better battery life
- Fewer call drops
- Bug fixes
- Faster backups to iTunes
- No App crashes
The iPod shuffle also got some new colors added, check them out here. Apple also introduced some new headphones that will go for $79.

I was hoping for an updated MacBook Pro, so I think it’s not a very exciting announcement.
